This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Hole Hustle ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Hole Hustle mobile game (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Plain-language summary: Hole Hustle has no logins and we don't collect your name, email, or contacts. Your game progress is stored on your device and (if you use iCloud) in your Apple iCloud account. We show ads through Google AdMob and offer in-app purchases through Apple — those companies process the related data under their own privacy policies, and you control ad tracking through the on-screen prompts.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
a) Game data stored on your device and iCloud. Your progress, coins, owned items, settings, and best score are stored locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud enabled for the App, this data is also synced to your personal Apple iCloud account so it can move between your devices. We do not have access to your iCloud account; this is handled by Apple.
b) Advertising (Google AdMob). The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as a device advertising identifier (IDFA/IDFV), IP address, general device information, and ad interaction data. Whether personalized advertising and the advertising identifier are used depends on your choices in the App Tracking Transparency prompt and, where applicable, the consent options we present in regions such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. c) In-app purchases (Apple). Purchases (coin packs and "Remove Ads") are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us with anonymized transaction confirmations needed to deliver the items you bought. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
d) Game Center (Apple). If you use Game Center features (leaderboards and achievements), Apple associates your scores and achievements with your Game Center player identifier. This is managed by Apple under its privacy policy.
We do not include third-party analytics or social-media tracking SDKs beyond the advertising and Apple services described above.
Information is used to: run and save your game; sync your progress across your devices via iCloud; deliver, measure, and (with consent) personalize advertising; process and deliver in-app purchases; provide leaderboards and achievements; and protect against fraud and abuse.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain advertising. Because we do not collect account-identifying information directly, much of your data is controlled through the device, Apple, and Google settings above. Our games are free to play with no banner ads and no interstitial ads. The only ads are opt-in, player-initiated rewarded videos — you choose to watch a short video in exchange for an in-game bonus — served through Google AdMob. A one-time Remove Ads purchase turns advertising off entirely. Google acts as our advertising partner; for details on how Google uses data collected through AdMob, see Google's partner policy at support.google.com/admob/answer/9012903. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising outside the advertising and Apple services described above.
Hole Hustle is intended for a general audience aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the App does not participate in Apple's Kids Category or any child-directed advertising programs. If you believe a child has provided information through advertising features, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
Game data persists until you delete the App or reset your progress, and iCloud data until removed from your iCloud account. Advertising and purchase data are retained by Google and Apple according to their own policies.
Apple and Google may process data in countries other than your own. Those transfers are governed by their respective privacy policies and safeguards.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, a notice in the App.
